About Acne Relief Kit

The Acne Relief Kit is a three-tube homeopathic set for occasional acne on the face and body: blackheads, oily skin, whiteheads and the risk of scarring, including the breakouts that come with puberty and with the menstrual cycle. Each tube holds roughly 80 meltaway pellets — 240 in total — and dissolves under the tongue without water. Because it works from the inside out, it reaches the back, chest and shoulders that a face wash never touches.

How the Acne Relief Kit Works

Rather than one formula for everyone, Boiron splits the job across three single remedies and lets you pick the pair that matches your skin. Selenium metallicum is the common denominator and goes in both routes. For blackheads with oily skin you combine it with Eugenia jambosa; for whiteheads alongside blackheads you combine it with Kali bromatum instead. Five pellets of each, three times a day. Nothing goes on the skin, so there is no drying, no peeling and no bleaching of towels — and nothing to make an already inflamed face more irritated. There are no known interactions with other medicines or supplements, so it sits comfortably alongside a topical routine or a prescription.

Key Ingredients

Three tubes, each a single active, each aimed at a different kind of spot:

  • Selenium metallicum — the tube you use in both routes. It covers juvenile acne with blackheads and oily skin.
  • Rose apple — for blackheads that flare with your period.
  • Potassium bromide — for whitehead acne and the scarring that follows it, and for sleeplessness with agitation.
  • Sucrose and lactose — the pellet itself, at about a quarter of a gram of sugar per dose.

Who It’s For

For teenagers riding out puberty, for adults whose skin still breaks out on a monthly cycle, and for anyone whose acne sits where a cream cannot sensibly go. The tubes are small enough to keep in a school bag or a handbag.

Suggested Use

Adults and children. For acne with blackheads and oily skin: at the onset of symptoms dissolve 5 pellets each of Selenium 6C and Eugenia jambosa 6C under the tongue, three times a day until symptoms ease. For acne with whiteheads and blackheads: 5 pellets each of Kali bromatum 30C and Selenium 6C, three times a day. Keep the carton — the directions are printed on it. Follow your healthcare practitioner’s advice if it differs.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which two tubes do I use? Selenium always, plus Eugenia jambosa if your skin is oily with blackheads, or Kali bromatum if you get whiteheads. The third tube keeps for when your skin changes.

Can I keep using my usual skincare? Yes. This works internally, so it does not compete with anything you apply.

Why does my skin break out around my period? Boiron labels this kit for exactly that pattern, and Eugenia jambosa is the tube aimed at it.

Could my gut be behind my skin? Often, yes — skin and gut track each other closely. Our guide to improving your gut microbiome is where we would start.
