About Eye Support

Eye Support is a homeopathic liquid from DesBio, formerly Eye Sarcode, for the temporary relief of eye symptoms: dryness, itching, redness, watering, eye allergy, pain, sensitivity to light, blurred or double vision, and eye injury. It comes as 1 fl oz (30 ml) of drops you take under the tongue, not in the eye.

How Eye Support Works

Eyes seldom bother you in just one way: dryness, itching, redness and blur often turn up together. Eye Support gathers fifteen homeopathic actives for that whole spread, and the Drug Facts label pairs each one with the eye symptom it is there for. At its core is the original Eye Sarcode, a homeopathic preparation of porcine eye tissue, now joined by fourteen plant and mineral actives. Three of them — the eye tissue, silver nitrate and bilberry — are included at 6X, 12X and 30X.

Key Ingredients

Fifteen actives, grouped here by the symptom the label assigns them to:

  • Porcine eye tissue and onion — general eye support.
  • Silver nitrate and bilberry — for blurred vision; calcium fluoride for double vision.
  • Carbon disulphide and nutmeg — for dry eyes; rattlesnake bean for itching.
  • Yellow jasmine — for watering eyes.
  • Honey bee and stavesacre — for eye allergy; Calabar bean for redness.
  • Potassium iodide — for eye pain; phosphorus for sensitivity to light.
  • Comfrey — for eye injury.
  • Demineralised water and 25% ethanol — the liquid base.

Who It’s For

For you if your eyes give you trouble in more than one way — dry and gritty one week, itchy, red or streaming the next — and you would rather reach for one remedy than a shelf of separate drops.

Suggested Use

Place 1–10 drops under the tongue, 3 times a day, or as directed by your healthcare practitioner. Do not put them in your eyes. Consult a physician before use in children under 12 years of age. Do not use if the tamper-evident seal is broken or missing.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this an eye drop? No. Eye Support is taken under the tongue; the drops are not made for the eye itself.

Is it the same as Eye Sarcode? It replaces it. The old Eye Sarcode contained porcine eye tissue alone; Eye Support keeps that and adds fourteen more actives.

Does it contain alcohol? Yes. The drops are made in demineralised water with 25% ethanol.

How does it differ from a nutritional eye formula? Eye Support is a homeopathic remedy aimed at symptoms. Eyeplex is a whole-food capsule for ocular health and normal eye function.
