Been building your thiamine for a while? Thiamega stacks four forms of vitamin B1 — 400 mg in every capsule — for when a starter dose no longer moves the needle.

Thiamega is Objective Nutrients’ high dose thiamine supplement, available in Australia. Each capsule delivers 400 mg of vitamin B1 across four different forms — thiamine hydrochloride, benfotiamine, sulbutiamine and TTFD — backing brain function, cognition and healthy energy metabolism in one serve.
How Thiamega Works
Every form of thiamine in this formula brings its own strength. Benfotiamine is known for supporting healthy blood sugar management and peripheral nerve function. Sulbutiamine is two thiamine molecules joined by a disulfide bond. TTFD carries a sulphur-mercaptan group that gives it unique reach. What the derivatives share is their structure: they pass through intestinal and cell membranes without needing a transport system, deliver thiamine inside the cell where it works as a cofactor in energy metabolism, and penetrate the brain and central nervous system. A dose of magnesium taurate rounds it off, because magnesium is what lets your cells put thiamine to use.
Key Ingredients
One capsule carries the full stack:
- Thiamine HCl — the classic, water-soluble form of vitamin B1.
- Benfotiamine — backs blood sugar management and peripheral nerves.
- Sulbutiamine — a double thiamine molecule bound by a disulfide bridge.
- TTFD — slips into cells and the brain without a transporter.
- Magnesium (as magnesium taurate) — supports how cells utilise thiamine.
- L-leucine, ascorbyl palmitate & cellulose capsule — the only other ingredients; free from gluten, soy, GMOs, artificial colours and preservatives.
Who It’s For
Thiamega is for experienced users — people already comfortable at thiamine doses of 400 mg or above, or juggling separate thiamine derivatives who’d rather take one capsule. New to thiamine? Start with Thiamax, ThiActive B or Thiavite instead and work your way up. Note that Thiamega may not suit people sensitive to sulphur-containing compounds.
Suggested Use
Take 1 capsule per day in the morning, with or without food, or as directed by your healthcare practitioner. The maximum is 5 capsules per day, spread across the day. Take it in the morning or early afternoon — evenings can interfere with sleep — and keep coffee or tea at least 1 hour before or 2 hours after.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is Thiamega right for beginners? No — it’s built for people with experience at higher thiamine doses. First-timers get a smoother start with Thiamax or one of the B-complexes.
What side effects can I expect? A temporary “paradoxical reaction” is possible at first — fatigue, brain fog or trouble concentrating, sometimes insomnia or anxiety at high doses. It usually settles within a few weeks; if it lingers, step down to a lower-dose option like Thiamax.
Should I take anything alongside Thiamega? A full-spectrum B complex such as ThiActive B or Thiavite is recommended, plus magnesium and mineral cofactors — the ThiAssist formula covers those.
Why four forms of thiamine in one capsule? Each form takes a different route into the body — classic HCl, blood-sugar-focused benfotiamine, double-bonded sulbutiamine and brain-reaching TTFD — so one capsule covers what separate products would.
