• Blue vervain and mandrake — blue vervain regulates muscle tension and cramping alongside neurotransmitter activity. Mandrake, used in the small amounts here, interacts with GABA receptors and sharpens the effect of the other nervines.
• L-methionine and L-tyrosine — methionine is the sulphur-bearing amino acid behind cysteine, taurine and SAMe, which protect nerves. Tyrosine precedes dopamine and noradrenaline, and helps the brain hold up under mental fatigue.
