🌕 Full Moon & Parasites – What’s Really Going On?

The full moon comes around every month — and while many of us marvel at its beauty, it’s also when parasites inside your body may be having a bit of a party. If you’ve noticed increased sugar cravings, teeth grinding, restless sleep, or feeling more irritable than usual, these can be signs that parasites are becoming more active. And the full moon can amplify these symptoms.

🐛 What Are Parasites?

Parasites are organisms that live inside a host (that’s you!) and feed off your nutrients. They can be:

  • Worms (ropeworms, tapeworms, whipworms)
  • Protozoa (microscopic parasites)
  • Flukes (flatworm that specifically infect the liver and bile ducts)

Common examples include:

  • Pinworms, often found in children
  • Giardia, a gut parasite typically contracted from contaminated water
  • Tapeworms, which can live for years in your intestines and grow up to a few metres!

💩 What Parasites Leave Behind

Like any living thing, parasites eat and create waste, but the problem is, they leave that waste inside you. This includes:

  • Ammonia, which can be neurotoxic
  • Faecal matter, polluting your gut and contributing to gas, bloating, and inflammation
  • Toxins, including chemicals and heavy metals, some parasites can hold up to six times their body weight in toxic waste
  • Dead body debris, when parasites die and decay
  • Immune-disrupting proteins, which can trigger allergic or autoimmune-like reactions

All of this creates a toxic load that can impact:

  • Energy levels
  • Digestion
  • Mental clarity
  • Immune function

No wonder so many of us feel exhausted, we’re feeding the parasites and getting drained in the process!

🌕 Why the Full Moon Matters

Parasites are clever. They don’t want to kill their host, that’s you, but they can make your life miserable. And during the full moon, they tend to become more active.

This isn’t just theory. A client of mine who worked in a psychiatric hospital told me that patients would often become more agitated during the full moon. Also emergency departments tend to see more activity, people’s symptoms flare up, moods swing, and things feel more intense.

Common symptoms reported around the full moon:

In my practice, many clients find they “fall off the wagon” around the full moon. Symptoms spike, and some want to stop their supplements. But ironically, this is often the best time to go harder on your antiparasitic protocol.

🌿 How to Get Parasites Out – Properly

To truly clear parasites from the body, you need a three-pronged approach:

  1. Antimicrobial herbs to kill them
    – Such as wormwood, black walnut hull, and clove oil
    – My go-to: the Para range by CellCore, because they are incredibly effective
  2. Binders to remove the waste
    – When parasites die, they release toxins, we need binders to safely carry that debris out of the body
    – Best binders are with humic and fulvic acid carbon technology, like CellCore’s binders
  3. Organ and gland support
    – Your liver, kidneys, and lymphatic system need extra love during a cleanse
    – Support with herbs like milk thistle, dandelion, and burdock, as well as minerals and drainage formulas
    – This ensures your body has the strength to process and eliminate what’s released

Without this full approach, parasite cleanses can backfire, toxins stay stuck in the system, symptoms worsen, and you feel defeated. But with the right support, you can feel clearer, lighter, and more energised than you have in years.

Parasite Detox Symptoms: What to Expect

When parasites die off, they release a flood of toxins into your system. This can overwhelm your detox pathways if not properly supported. Common parasite detox symptoms include:

  • Headaches
  • Fatigue
  • Bloating or gas
  • Brain fog
  • Skin breakouts
  • Body aches
  • Mood swings

These reactions are also known as a “die-off” or Herxheimer reaction, a short-term response to detoxing too quickly. While uncomfortable, they’re often a sign that your parasite protocol is working.

How Long Does Parasite Die-Off Last?

This depends on the individual, the level of infestation, and how well your drainage systems are working. In general, parasite die-off symptoms can last anywhere from a few days to a couple of weeks. Some people feel better after a few nights of poor sleep, while others experience a longer adjustment period as their body clears toxins.

💡 Tip: If symptoms become overwhelming, it usually means detox pathways (like the colon or liver) are congested. In this case, slow down your protocol, increase drainage support, and use binders daily to help move waste out.

🌿 What I Recommend

I encourage all of my clients to do a parasite cleanse or a comprehensive detox programme.

Some of the most effective natural antiparasitic herbs include:

  • Wormwood
  • Black walnut hull
  • Clove oil
Products like Para 3 and WO Oil (China Healing Oil) contain these antimicrobial herbs in a combination that works synergistically.

The goal is to strike when parasites are most active and vulnerable — and the full moon is the perfect time to do just that.
